I’ve actually had to take time out to completely layout the underwater facility this past week, as it was necessary for my characters to plan their our assault/rescue against the ones who’ve taken someone captive. A little exercise in strategic thinking for all of us was quite a good experience!

The mission for this weekend was to get my characters through the lab and geared up in the weapons room. So two very cool areas of the story to draw and write – and so many decisions and details to make! Some of the lab drawings I’ve had to take onto bigger paper; I think that’ll be ok. And I’ve never actually had to draw weapons before, so that’s a whole new experience for me.
